Kinja'd!!!

I spotted this on my way to work this morning. Last summer, this guy was coming the other way down this same road, almost hit my girlfriend and I head on in the Focus, and basically ran us off the road.

His right front wheel is falling off, so I'd imagine that's a ball joint issue? Not sure how his windshield got messed up but whatever happened he absolutely had it coming.

Back in '96 I was driving my big ol' smelly diesel Peugeot 504 Wagon down the old US road and being tailgated by a douchebag in an SHO Taurus. I was doing 55-60...and there's not any passing zones on that stretch of road. I made a right turn to the on ramp onto the new US road...at the top of the ramp there's a blindish curve into the merge lane. Smack in the middle of that curve was a dead deer, still steaming on the cold morning. I zigged and straddled it...one of the bones rattled along the underside of my Peugeot. Doucheboy in the SHO was all over my ass and couldn't see what was coming...said deer carcass cleaned off his spoiler and caved in the valence or at least that's what I saw when he stood on the brakes and pulled off the road to see what the hell he'd hit...karma, fool. Karma.

Looks like the window is busted in from the outside. Wink wink we'll keep that between us.

A deer I'm guessing. They typically clear the bumper and sometimes clear the hood as well.

It's a possibility, though that stretch of road doesn't typically have too many deer incidents. As long as it wasn't a person.

I always liked that generation Solara with the SE V6 and the 5-speed. Mind you, I thought driving something with a manual coupled to a 3.0+L was daunting until I drove a red Solara.

I wish I bought it.

This guy has forever ruined Solaras for me. No big loss I suppose.

Still, the Solara was sort of the last straw for Toyota - Then again, I thought the Supra was a fat fuckin' pig.

Wow I never realized the A80 was so heavy until I just looked it up. 3400lbs for the Turbo? That is definitely a bit porky. My car is a fat shit too though.

.... I forgot, how much does the FD RX-7 weigh again?

According to wiki, the max was 2954lbs for an FD and an R34 GT-R was 3386lbs. So the Supra was comparable.

Slightly by 400 lbs.

I'd rather be antisocial (FD) than drive something that's heavy (Supra), but that's just me.

I'd be happy with either, weight be dammed.
